  • Activities of daily living that we can assist you with include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other similar tasks
  • Your assessment determines the level of assistance you may need and most assisted living facilities assign a “care level” or “wellness plan” to you based on your assessment. These charges for a “level of care” or a “wellness plan” are then added to your base rental rate.
  • Yes, residents can transition smoothly and seamlessly to memory care. Since the same electronic record is used throughout the facility, it is a smooth transition to another level of care.
  • We provide nurses in house 24/7 so that you always have help if needed.
  • The most common item that seniors need assistance with is medication management. Our nurses work with your physician to ensure that you are taking the right medications at the right time and at the right dose. Our nurses obtain the medications from the pharmacy, communicate with your physician regarding side effects, communicate with your physician and handle any changes in your medications, and ensure there is a correct medication list.
  • Our nurses may assist you in making appointments with healthcare providers and ensure that you get to your appointments as scheduled. Some of these appointments can take place in our facility with community partners in our wellness center. If your appointments are outside, we provide scheduled transportation as needed.
  • Our staff is trained as phlebotomists so you don’t have to leave the facility for blood draws. Your blood can be drawn right here at Paradise Pointe and sent to the lab for analysis.
  • Our nurses monitor you for changes in condition and contact your physician as needed. Their goal is to ensure that you stay healthy.
  • Our nurses monitor our advanced technology tools to determine if you have small changes in your health status. Early detection leads to prevention of further illness, Emergency Room visits, and hospitalizations.
  • Our nurses are trained in first aid and CPR and can handle emergencies as needed.
